So I have been unhappy and complaining about my weight for...pretty much as long as I can remember. But I have finally decided to turn over a new leaf and really try to get healthier. So I signed up with Curves the all women's gym, and I absolutely love it! I've lost 8 pounds and I can tell that my body is getting leaner. I feel fantastic(that's also the name of a funny song, look it up.) and I'm really encouraged and am busting my butt. I stoped drinking any soda, I only eat when I'm hungry and I work out at the gym 3 days a week and try to walk for at least 45 mins on the days I'm not at the gym. It's like, now that I've stopped and got past the cravings I don't even want the soda or the junk food. I've been working out steadily for a month on the 10th and I really enjoy seeing my body change. It makes me actually kinda feel bad for those who feel like only lyposuction(sp?) or weight loss surgery can help them because then they don't get the satisfaction of knowing they worked hard for it and they don't get to feel the amazing joy in getting back into a pair of old jeans they loved or the awesome feeling of getting new clothes that they never had thier size in before.

I'll be posting 'then' and 'now' pics on the 10th of every month(if I remember) to show the progress then when I reach my main goal of about 50lbs I'll post a 'before' and 'after'. I'm so excited about doing this. I'm really turning over a new leaf here. I gave up so many times and I'm tired of it.

Anybody else who is trying to loose weight and wants to talk or just needs a shoulder, feel free to comment or note me. I've tried everything short of purging and diet pills so chances are I can relate.
